The origin of species
Ikologik's origin traces back to the turn of the century, when founder Tom Serru was deeply involved in software development for electronic transactions and the integration of business applications, primarily within corporate environments.
It was a time of rapid evolution in internet technologies, opening up exciting opportunities for document dematerialisation and data exchange. Back then, software systems were far less centralised than today’s ERP platforms, making communication between different applications not just important but essential.
This very dynamic environment laid the foundation for Ikologik’s vision: creating smart, agile software that connects, integrates, and drives businesses forward.
Strong sprout, global bloom
It’s nothing new: a challenge comes by, you grab it, build a solution that exceeds expectations and then decide to build even further. This is also how it happened for Ikologik, but due to the highly positive impact of the solution, it quickly spread internationally.
Today, we are proud to have over 10,000 registered installations, with more than 2,000 users in over 100 countries. And yet, we are convinced that this is just the beginning of an exciting journey. A growth we aim to achieve in a healthy way, independent of what may look trendy today.
