MES Software Engineer

As an MES Software Developer, you will work on innovative solutions that make production processes smarter, more efficient and more transparent. You will translate the wishes of industrial customers into robust digitalisation solutions that perfectly match their production environment. You will work at the intersection of IT and industrial automation: from the shop floor to ERP integration. You will develop, configure and implement the in-house developed MES software and ensure that machines, operators and management systems work together seamlessly.

Your tasks

• Design, develop and implement MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) applications.
• Integrating MES with PLCs, SCADA, ERP and other production IT systems.
• Analysing customer processes and translating them into functional and technical designs.
• Testing, documenting and commissioning the MES software at the customer's site.
• Supporting customers in the roll-out and aftercare of projects.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, project leaders and process experts.

Your profile

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in IT, (industrial) automation or software engineering.
• You have experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) and backend development(Java or C#).
• Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) is a plus.
• You are analytical, accurate and enjoy technically complex challenges.
• You enjoy working in a team, but can also take responsibility independently.
• An affinity with industrial environments or IoT is an asset, but not a must.
